The ubiquitous iPod has just hit the hit the 100 million mark. That's right, since its release in 2001, over 100 million iPods have been sold, roughly one for every three Americans.

Although I cannot confirm these facts are connected, an Iraqi insurgent recently shot an American soldier in the iPod. (The American survived.)
